Martina Norell graduated first in her class at Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm, Sweden, Scandinavia’s top design school. Martina created the sweater line at Bailey44 from scratch, and her designs and the sweater line have consistently been the brand’s #1 top-sellers. Prior to Bailey44, Martina was design director of the sportswear division at NYDJ in Los Angeles. She has worked as a Senior Designer, Coordinator and Design Director for international companies such as 7 for All Mankind, Elie Tahari, Gant, Marc O’Polo and Peak Performance, the premiere high-end activewear brand in Sweden. Martina is a well-rounded contemporary womenswear designer with a proven ability to forecast trends and realize them in commercially successful products. She lives in Los Angeles.
